Orion introduces, An Intercoat and Carrier Clear all in one, Interstellar Intercoat.
Carrying, pearl, flake, candy concentrates and base coats. Created for candy, flake or pearl applications and for surface leveling in the graphics painting process. 1610-00 has amazing ?adhesion properties, once it flashes off you can tape with masking or fineline tape. The formulation and amazing adhesion properties will contribute to avoiding delamination between coats. Being a completely transparent midcoat, it will not ruin the the appearance of flakes or pearls. It will also keep candies vivid ?and bright. This product contains zero UV. It’s meant to be clear-coated.
Mix ratio is 1:1 with Orion 594-BC60/BC70/BC80. You must use the Color Basecoat Reducer with any basecoat product. Do not use the 594 Urethane Reducer with the intercoat clear. You can use the clearcoat hardener you’re using to catalyze 5%.
You max reduce 2:1 for specific applications, and coverage purposes.
Orion’s entire Basecoat, and Constellation Color line is designed to be compatible with this product.

I’ve used this intercoat as a candy carrier and to smooth out my artwork before clearing. I also use it reduce the colors in my airbrush paint and to add pearls. It does exactly what I need it to do and very easy to use. It’s an all around go to product!
